The Halls Gap Colonial is situated in the heart of the Grampians, one of the largest National Parks in Victoria, an easy 3 hour drive from Melbourne. The Halls Gap township is close to the Western Victorian centres of Stawell, Ararat and Horsham with Adelaide a mere 5 hours away. The perfect place to stop enroute just off the Western Highway.
The most effective way to reach Halls Gap is by private vehicle. Due to the isolation of the township, public transport is at a minimum. Bus lines do operate to Stawell with a connection to Halls Gap daily. However, a number of bus tours regularly visit the region and are available for you to join for sight seeing.
